Circumstance of solar energy in Pakistan
As one of the fastest growing countries in the region, Pakistan is currently spending $12 billion annually on the import of crude oil which increases the import bill to multiple folds. Out of this, 70% oil is used in generating power. Considering the growing demand of energy in the country, solar energy can prove to be an effective alternative.
