The 18th China International Industry fair to be held on November 1 in Shanghai.
China International Industry Fair – CIIF is jointly organized by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology,National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Science, Chinese Academy of Engineering, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, United Nations Industrial Development Organization and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, co-organized by China Machinery Industry Federation and managed by Shanghai East Best & Lansheng International (Group) Co.,Ltd. CIIF, a leading event on equipment manufacturing in China, is staged from the first Tuesday to Saturday in November annually in Shanghai.

CIIF 2016 is approaching to highlight the transformation of manufacturing industry
The 18th China International Industry fair (CIIF 2016) is going to be staged from November 1 to 5 2016 at National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). After 17 years successful operation, the 5-days event becomes a global branding fair as the optimal manufacturing platform and the must-attended exhibition for manufacturing industry. CIIF 2016 accommodates 8 leading international shows taking place under a single umbrella. Themed as “Innovative, Intelligent and Green” of CIIF 2016, the topics of CIIF covers metalworking and CNC machine tool, industrial automation & IT solutions, environmental protection, energy infrastructure, energy-saving vehicle and robotics.
In a recent open forum held on September 9, China’s Vice-Premier Ma Kai called for efforts to propel supply-side reform and the efficient implementation of the “Made in China 2025” initiative to upgrade the manufacturing industry. Intelligent manufacturing takes an important role to promote “Made in China 2025” plan which began in 2014.
China will continue to upgrade its manufacturing industry and boost its intelligent manufacturing. “The number of pilot projects related to intelligent manufacturing across the nation this year will reach 60, compared with 46 last year,” said Feng Fei, vice-minister of the MIIT. CIIF 2016, as a Chinese government-organized event, will demonstrate this year’s intelligent manufacturing pilot projects authorized by MIIT. COMAC, ZTE, MengNiu and other domestic manufacturers will present their intelligent production solutions on-site.
Besides Chinese top manufacturing leaders, global industrial magnates also confirmed to display cutting-edge technologies and products. Siemens, Bosch, SAP and some Germany-based companies will show their Industrie 4.0 solutions customized for Chinese manufacturers. ABB, FANUC, YASKAWA, KUKA and other leading industrial robots brand will release their new models to upgrading the productive process for end-users.
The sales of booths are coming to the end and beyond satisfaction. According to show management of CIIF, this year’s event will occupy over 270,000 square meters and expect to attract 2,100 exhibitors and 130,000 trade visitors.
